thats sooo looserly

Why do I think this is hilarious? And why has my blog turned into video's I like from YouTube?

smarty pants dance

Sometimes Zane and I have a hard time agreeing on what to watch.
When I say, "you choose", it always ends with Zane finding himself some science-fiction movie involving aliens, or time travel, and me eating my words.

It is in those moments of disagreement, we settle on America's Funniest Home Videos. Even though I am fairly certain Tom Bergeron is a closet pervert, and everything he does makes me cringe, the actual videos are pretty hilarious.

This was my favorite video we saw last night.

My child will know the 50 states by age 2, and she will have an adorable victory dance.

quality television

I've heard the name Honey Boo-boo child a lot lately, and am only sad I didn't youtube her until now.
TLC, you never let me down. Seriously. Watch the entire video, you won't regret it.

You're welcome.

whether its life, or just swimming, always do your best

I haven't been watching the Olympics.
I know, it's like admitting you don't keep up with the news. Doesn't exactly make me sound like a well educated, or involved American citizen.

This is what I do know about the Olympics this year. Ryan Lochte, athletic, pretty, but mostly pretty stupid.

This has been entertaining my co-workers and me all morning.

Is it weird that I like him even more after this video?
Turns out being empty between the ears is kind of endearing.

"I can't wait till I finish swimming, so I can go to the market to, do a little shopping"

On this rainy Tuesday

I'm grateful for all the good men in my life. Especially my sweet husband, and awesome dad.
If you're loving the men in your life, can I get a     "what, what!"       *raising the roof*

when I grow up

After Matt Nathanson, and watching this video....

I have never wanted to be a rockstar more in my whole life.
completely realisitic career goal, I know.

Forget Justin Bieber, I have converted.

I don't know if I want to be him, be his best friend, or marry him.
Or maybe I just want to go to a 30 seconds to mars concert...
But because Zane reads this blog, and I promised to keep all men objectification strictly for Zane, we will go with I just want to be Jared Leto's best friend.
(Zane, you showed me this. It's your own fault.)

I think I'll watch this video one last time before I take a little nap.
*crossing my fingers I dream I'm a rockstar*

Matt Nathanson

Way back in the beginning of August, I bought some Matt Nathanson concert tickets for Zane's birthday.
I remember the day I told my mom, I was buying the tickets about 3 months in advance, and she said to me, "That's putting a lot of faith in your relationship, isn't it?"
And now look at us, the concert has finally arrived, and not only are we still together but betrothed :)
Life is funny sometimes. Not really in a ha-ha sort of way, but a beautiful coincidental kind of way.

While we waited outside The Venue, some slightly tipsy, but friendly 40 year old divorced mom sisters started to make friends with us. They kept saying over and over how cute we were, sometimes they would clutch my chin while they said it.
They kept telling me I looked like Mena Suvari too. Except I mostly don't, see?

Well, I thought it was funny, but I think Zane was getting a little irritated, especially when they continued to tell us, "Just don't get married!"
I held up my ring. They asked us how old we were, and freaked out a little bit when I said I was 19. And then asked us if we were getting married in the LDS temple, and we said yes, and yet again they were disappointed.
When they got distracted with hitting on the younger boys in front of us, the sweetest couple behind us, a little older than the drunk sisters said, "Don't listen to them. We're going on 25 years, and I got married the week before I turned 19. When you find 'em, you've just got to hold on."
Zane and I thought the whole interaction was pretty cool.
And who do you think we listened to, the drunk , divorced, 40 somethin women, hitting on 20 somethin boys? Or the happy, nice, married couple out on a date night to a concert together?
No contest there.
It's baffling to me that the world doesn't see it the same way...

Anyway, we did finally make it inside. It was such an amazing concert, one of the best I've been to in awhile.
Matt, as Zane calls him, is a really talented artist. He put together some really cool medleys. And surprisingly, kept the concert really clean. No swearing, and hardly any references to sex.
Also, Fun Fact for you, Matt Nathanson's drummer is from little old OREM!
We thought that was neat.

After the concert we got some "Brinner", as the O'Gwin's say, at Village Inn and then went to bed.
It was a  much needed perfect date night.

And here is a little glimpse for ya...

Sorry it's kinda loud in there, so the sound is basically terrible.

A Rascally Night

I am so blessed to have fallen in love with the O'Gwins.
From the day I met them I always wanted to spend time around them, simply because they are wonderful, never because I had to.
And since all my friends are away from me, the O'Gwins fill the holes they left behind :)
Especially Zane's little sister Catie, we have been friends since the beginning.

So it worked out perfectly when my mom gave me some Rascal Flatts tickets that I actually had a friend to bring with me!
And we had loooots of fun!

Sara Evans, and Rascal Flatts both have amazing voices, especially live, which often is not the case.
There are no bad seats in USANA.
And We made good friends with the very sweet lesbians sitting in front of us.
It was more fun than I thought it would be!

The only downside to the concert was the scary, probably drunk, old hippie grandpa sitting two rows behind us...
Catie, the three lesbians, and I stood up when Sara Evans came out, we like her, it's a concert, and she deserves to have her fans react like they're having a good time.
but the old man, and his mean old wife, disagreed. They continued to yell at us to sit down.
So being the assertive person I am, I finally turned around and as kindly as possible told them that I paid for these tickets, this is a concert, and I am sorry, but we are going to stand.
So he yelled, "You're an F******* B****"!"
Completely shocked and terrified I quickly turned around.

Well somewhere else in the arena my mom is sitting with her three best friends, so I texted her the little story because she's my mom and I tell her everything.
Next thing I know, my mom is stormin down my isle, picks out the old man behind me and chews him out. She shakes her scariest teacher pointer finger in his face and tells him that he cannot speak to me that way, to get over it cause he is at a "freaking concert"!, and if he says anything to me she will have security remove him. Needless to say, my mom is awesome. And the oldies left me alone for the rest of the concert.

Well you have to admit my sweater isn't doin much for me, but my mom is BEAUTIFUL, and awesome. I am so grateful for everything she does for me.

So all summed up, it was such a great night!
Especially after a kind of tough week, it was exactly what I needed.

Here's a little glimpse for you... and if you ask me, the lesbians really set the mood.

And even though we got stuck in about 4 hours of traffic on the way home, fun people in car next to us running to our car on the freeway to give us their number made even the worst situation of the night a little fun.

It was a pretty perfect night!

Dancin Girl

I just created a youtube account so I can finally upload videos onto the blog,
so now I may or may not be obsessed with all my old videos.

While I was in Florida, walking around universal studios, I ended up walking behind this girl. And bless her heart, she just couldn't contain how much she loved the Britney Spears song that was blasting over the speakers.
It gave me a little giggle to watch her from behind (creepy I know).
So I decided I had to capture at least a snid-bit of it, sadly I missed out on all of her best moves. Oh well.

It makes laugh a little to think about what people might have seen me do from afar...

I told CC this little story, and she insisted that she had to see the video.
So here it is.

Watch what ridiculous things you do on the streets, I might be walking behind you to capture it on film :)

Old Girl

Once upon a time, in a place titled The 404, there was a chair.
It was an old, smelly chair, but a good chair nonetheless.

Then one day, the girls of 404 had to move home, and I am afraid the chair, named Old Girl, couldn't come.
She had to be sent to the dumpster outside Snow Hall.

But before we said goodbye, we made a tribute video.
It was 3 in the morning okay, who knows what inspired me to do this...

My roommies have been dying for me to get this posted on FB, but I never figured it out, and Im no longer on there. So I finally got it uploaded on this little blog.

Hopefully one or two of them are still reading it...

To see it a little larger, click Here.

ENJOY!

And I would like to say how much I miss my roommates. Seriously, love you girls :)
