The sun is out, and that means Yogurtland is making a comeback.

I couldn't be happier. 

It's heaven in a bowl. 

If you're wondering what this delicious combination is, as you should be, 

I'll tell you. 

Plain Tart, mixed with Blueberry Tart, strawberries, banana's, and some blackberries. Top it off with crushed graham cracker, and some condensed milk.

Fruity enough that you don't feel guilty, sugary enough that you probably should.

I am confident is it the best combination ever. 

Zane unfortunately doesn't agree. He doesn't care too much for Yo-land. He also doesn't care too much for peanut-butter. Psycho. 

If he didn't agree to let me eat my yogurt, and my peanut-butter baked goods, I'm afraid we would be headed towards divorce. 

But he does, so the love remains.

Brooke Date

I have the best boy ever.
After I've had a rough night, full of unnecessary tears, Zane takes me out on a Brooke date.
Which means he chooses activities that he knows I really want to do, regardless of how he feels.
We ate at Five Guys, cause he knew I was craving it.
Then took me to my favorite place in the world, Yogurtland. Even though he says it smells like estrogen.
And then to finish it off, we went and saw Footloose. A pretty much girl movie he knew I wanted to see, that I absolutely loved!

He knows how to cheer me up pretty quick. That's why we're gettin' Hitched.

Quick Lindsey Time

Yesterday Lindsey was in town for like a whole day.
So I took the evening off the boy to spend some QT with her.

But life isn't too exciting, so basically we went here...

Still an addiction. You're disgusted, I know. 

And then she came to my home to open a late birthday gift from me..

What a cute little outfit she has on! and what cute friends we are! :)

And then basically we sat around and did nothing but doodle and chat.

Exciting or not, it was nice to catch up. 

I know I am going to be lonely when school officially starts and all my friends are busy and far away. So I'm glad I got to see her, even for just a bit. 

She's my bestie people.

Even though I am a little sickly, nothing could keep me away from Yogurtland QT with my best friend.

She is stinkin' adorable, and makes me so happy.

Now that I am staying in Orem instead of going to USU, it's time to spend as much time as possible with my Catherine before she starts her college adventure.

It's perfect and allows me to pretend it has some nutritional value. 

Don't cheat on the plain tart with fruit.

Bye Bye Best Friends

Lindsey got the job she interviewed for in Logan, which is pretty amazing for her, but it means that she has to move to Logan in about a week, for the rest of the summer, which basically sucks for me.
Hillary is moving to Ecuador in about a week till November, which is even more amazing, but also really sucks for me.

Granted the three of us spend a lot of our days apart from each other even when we're home, but the comfort of having them so close has been a blessing since we were neighbors in Snow Hall.
I am excited for both of them, but I am going to miss having them around so much it hurts to think about a little bit.

Luckily there are a few other people, who kind of love me, who are willing to keep me occupied for the rest of the summer...

I decided the 30 days is boring me.
I will come back to it when I am desperate.

Since I quit FB, I have found my picture taking to be lacking.
So, I made a conscious effort to pick up the slack these past two days.
And I know those of you who used to creep on me are curious for a little update, and I am a people pleaser sooo.... let's talk!

Braden is near and dear to me, but since we both have our own busy lives {both meaning mostly him} we don't get together that often. Usually I get 10 min visits once a week or so, but this week I talked him into coming to dinner with my family.
Some days I'm convinced my family loves him more than they love me.
I'm okay with it.
We went to China Lilly. The food was delicious, and the company was perfect.

Hillary leaves for her cruise in 2 days, and Lindsey leaves for Lake Powell tomorrow. So I tried to get in some quality time with my besties before they deserted me in Orem.
Yogurtland with Hill obviously. It is our new addiction.

Then Lindsey and I made a little trip to Logan. She had a job interview, and didn't want to make the drive all by her lonesome, naturally being the amazing friend I am, I agreed to wake up at 7:30 and go with her. 

It wasn't bad at all, we had good car talks like always. 

Plus, it turns out Logan is really beautiful this time of year. 

And tonight I got my first taste of 4th of July fever with the O'Gwin family. 

The 4th has rarely been a big holiday for my family, we are more birthday and christmas people, but it's a big hit with the O'Gwins. 

Basically as early as it is legal, they are setting off fireworks. 

They actually take them apart, or tape them up, and turn them into little homemade bombs. 

Even though I had a deadly encounter with a homemade bomb gone wrong, {I was literally saved by a boy's quick reflex to swat a firework from hitting me in the face}, and I had a gas bomb explode all over me, I had a lot of fun.

Pretty neat huh?!
